This funding is supported by the likes of the Sierra Club, Acadia Center and the Nature Conservancy of Maine to enhance their virtue signals by promising money to people who will support their agenda, (the ratepayer's money) . When I want to speak out, I either write "Letters to The Editor" or comment on this forum offered by the PUC. I am totally fed up with laws that are paid by ratepayers who get no representation in Augusta and don't even get the courtesy of being informed on their bills about how much the utility must collect on behalf of laws favored by the elite environmental groups and lobbyists. I expect more from our Public Advocate than talking points that will someday bring him a job offer from an appreciative wind or solar developer or lobbyist.
