I've recently learned that this case may impact my property but have not been able to discern what actual impacts could be and did not receive any substantive notice of the potential impact. I'm adding public comment here requesting to be added as a potentially intervening party until more details can be provided on the scope of impact and how it would directly affect my property and that of my neighbors. Including whether or not acquisition of property is in scope. My home directly abuts the existing transmission lines in scope of this ROW expansion and I have significant concerns regarding the project. Based on my personal experiences and that of my neighbors I do not feel as though this project has been adequately explained to those potentially impacted individuals and I have significant concerns stemming across a wide range of factors including substantial monetary impact in the form of adverse impact to property values for little to no public benefit. Could someone from the MPUC please contact me via email to provide me with information on how to become an intervening party until such time as potential impacts can be adequately be documented and addressed?

I am writing to advise that the City of South Portland has met with CMP to discuss its plan and considerations for long term capital improvements to the electricity grid in South Portland and the surrounding region. The City is aware that CMP has identified a need to invest in the electrical infrastructure in our area in order to support existing demand as well as long term demand trends. The long term needs for our electrical infrastructure are informed by the South Portland-Portland Climate Action Plan "One Climate Future," which advocates for increased electrification in the future. Our discussions with CMP thus far have covered the expected phased approach to investment in our region, they have made clear that there is significant additional information needed to understand the options available to CMP to service our area, and that there are critical electrical infrastructure assets and opportunities within South Portland that will need to be carefully planned for to ensure the regional needs are met while the community's priorities and the best interests and quality of life in our neighborhoods are maintained. The City looks forward to continued discussion with CMP through this complex capital planning effort; we expect to see further information about the needs and options that CMP is considering to address long term electrical infrastructure needs in our area, and we are interested in being closely engaged with this effort to ensure our community's interests are maintained, which include but are not limited to access to reliable, efficient, and affordable electricity.

To whom it may concern, I'm very concerned about the CMP case number 2025-00276, my concerns include the following: ? Not everyone was notified ? Increase from a medium voltage line triple to a high voltage line ? Potential health concerns for residents close to the lines (Some Falmouth homes off Middle have lawns/backyards beneath the power lines!) ? Decrease in property values ? I own the land this is proposed to go on ? I suggest CMP put the transmission line underground; under the railroad bed. and I would like this project to be reconsidered as I am the rightful owner of a property on this proposed new high voltage line proposed to go up using a piece of my property. Thanks, Mike Farley
