$2billon dollars worth of wind plants and transmission will not improve reliability in either ISO-NE or Maine. Reliability is the cornerstone mission of ISO-NE. The fact that they bowed to NESCOE to Request Bids to raise the transfer limits at the NH/ME border for 1200 megawatts of wind ( actual annual part-time production around 400 megawatts) is counter to their own mission. Not to mention most of all the Power Purchase Agreements the PUC has provided to wind projects are costing Maine ratepayers on their bills. Why isn't New Hampshire mentioned in the coordination effort? When will the public have opportunity to express their views about the lack of reliability this project presents and the required additional costs to overcome this lack of reliability. You can either advocate for ratepayers by rejecting all bids or bow to the partison legislature and blow up Maine electric bills.

Here is a little nugget from the Maine Department of Energy Resources copied from their report: "Maine Energy Profile" Maine Energy Profile | Maine Department of Energy Resources "Maine's total in-state electricity generation has increased from approximately 12 million MWh in 2015 to nearly 15 million MWh in 2024, as shown in Figure 2. The use of natural gas to produce electricity in Maine more than doubled from roughly 3 million MWh in 2015 to over 6 million MWh in 2024."
